Are your products BPA free?
Yes. We independently test our stainless steel water bottles and stainless steel food containers in Canada for BPA and six phthalates – none were found. We also test for heavy metals including lead, arsenic and mercury in accordance with Health Canada and exceed all guidelines.
What is 18/8 stainless steel?
18/8 stainless steel contains about 18% chromium and 8% nickel, and is is also known as grade #304 stainless steel. The nickel content makes the steel corrosion and rust resistant as well as non-magnetic. Please note that prolonged storage of food and liquids may cause mold and will lead to rusting.
Can I use your bottles and containers to keep warm or cold?
You can put water, juice, smoothies, etc into our bottles but we caution against hot liquids as our water bottles and food containers are single-walled stainless steel which will conduct heat, and may cause harm when touched. Our products are not insulated and are not designed to keep warm or cold.
Can I put my bottle or containers into the freezer?
No. The freezer will change the composition of the stainless steel and will cause the metal to warp which may result in leakage/damage.
What is the best way to clean your products?
We suggest hand washing using warm water and soap, then allow to AIR DRY completely. For additional cleaning information, please refer to our care and use recommendations.
Where are your products made?
Because of materials and technology factors, our products are made in China by an internationally accredited manufacturer, and we independently test them in Canada to ensure highest standards in health and safety. We have personally visited our factories and know their conditions, labour and health aspects to ensure that our products are ethically and responsibly made.
What does carbon neutral mean?
Carbon neutral means that we offset the carbon emissions generated from the manufacturing and end-to-end shipping of our products with carbon credits. We purchase Gold Standard carbon credits which goes towards climate friendly projects. Our products have zero carbon footprint.
How do you support the environment?
Our stainless steel water bottles help reduce recycling and the dumping of plastic bottles into landfills as well as reduce the long term carbon emissions of single-use plastic bottles. All of our products promote reducing, reusing and refilling. We are carbon neutral and run an eco-friendly business using recycled post-consumer paper products for packaging and shipping. We also support charities and participate in community events and fundraisers.
Is your company Canadian?
Yes, we are 100% Canadian owned and operated. Our office is located in Burnaby, British Columbia (just outside of Vancouver). The artwork designs on all our products are created by Canadian artists.
