A little story to share…

Last week, I received a very nice note from a mom who purchased one of our stainless steel water bottles for her 3 years old son. I’ve always loved hearing from customers especially with comments about how their child uses our bottles. The email made my day :)

A couple of days later, she emailed me again with a little story and a comment stating that she would make my day again. I read it today. It was so touching that I have to share it because it not only made my day but my entire week! So here it is, unaltered words by the original author:

My son just recently had a bout with Roseola Infantum. He had a particularly high fever for 3 days. My biggest worry was him not getting enough liquids. Of course, with fever, every parent worries about dehydration. The bottle made it so easy for him. What he did was just lie in bed with it right beside him. He would wake in the night and ask me where his water bottle was. He was very adamant that it be put right beside him so he could get at it easily.

It was super easy for him to just grab it, open it up, drink, and close it again then lay it next to him for the next time he needed to drink. And it didn’t leak!!

I’m just so impressed with this product. I guess I’m going on about it, but it was just so comforting for me to not have to worry about that and to see him able to help himself and have some control over the whole thing. I mean he was crazy into this water bottle during his fever. I’d never seen anything like that before.

I did not have to ask him to drink or wake him up and sit him up to take a drink. He was able to just rest and have the water close by to drink as he needed. I think it just made it so much easier for him to deal with being sick. I mean he’s only 3. Thanks again.

Thanks so much Lyn for your story and for allowing us to share it with other moms (and dads)!
